BACKGROUND
Rockflow is a consultancy specialising in upstream oil and gas, providing independent and expert advice to tackle complex, commercial and strategic challenges for clients across 60 countries. They are problem solvers, focused on delivering value for their clients.
THE CHALLENGE
The key issues faced by Rockflow was the complexity of their existing website, meaning they struggled to keep it up to date with their latest work and growing team.
They needed a complete rebuild that:
- Is visually appealing and accessible
- Has an easy-to-use backend management system that is scalable without external help
- Has a consistent design language
SOLUTION
Our talented in-house designer created a bespoke design that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but is highly functional, serving the clients’ needs.
The development team then effectively and efficiently brought the site to life. Over all we delivered:
- A WordPress website with a scalable back-end management system that is easily accessible.
- The use of rich media to immediately engage users.
- A navigation bar with a unique, dynamic functionality.
- Ensured that content such as new team members could be managed & showcased appropriately, with the flexibility in areas such as display order.
- We created a dynamic website with features that are personalised to the Rockflow site: When clicking on an ‘Expertise’ page, the relevant team members who specialise in this area would show at the bottom of the page. Users can then easily click the particular expert to learn more or contact them if they wish.
- The most recent posts or insights are dynamically displayed and updated as featured posts within the Mega-Menus, improving click-through rates.
CONCLUSION
We successfully delivered a website that is not only visually appealing but also functional and incredibly easy to manage. Rockflow now has a website that can scale with their growth, without the need for developer support. The project successfully met all of the objectives set out, leaving the client truly satisfied.
