WE’RE HIRING

We're looking for a Marketing Assistant (Maternity Cover – 9 months) to join our team.

We’re looking to hire a Sales & Marketing Assistant (Maternity Cover).

Hewitt Matthews is searching for a Marketing Assistant to join our expanding team, helping us in our ambitious plans to scale up and grow across the UK, with various progression opportunities available as this happens.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a multi-faceted position that is ideally suited to a flexible, methodical, ideas-driven and hard-working individual.

The successful applicant will have ideally been working in a marketing related role with a level of familiarity & understanding of sales processes already.

The individual will also be able to demonstrate experience and understanding around how to market a service business, rather than a product based business.

Willingness to develop a strong understanding of the services Hewitt Matthews offers and an eagerness to learn about the latest marketing technology, techniques and strategies will be vital as this is what you will be expected to communicate to our audience.

The role needs a wide range of marketing abilities, skills and experience from supporting the founders personal brand and content strategy to creating thought leadership pieces and helping to organise events. We are looking for someone who is hands-on and has the ability to think & plan strategically.

Additionally, we will provide training and support to develop your sales skills for handling inbound leads. This will involve discovery calls, proposal writing and, overtime, the ability to close deals entirely with new clients.

The role is very autonomous and proactivity is a must-have trait so, this would best suit a driven self-starter with strong initiative.

The role will involve the continuous building of the processes & strategy already produced & being executed by the member of staff who will be taking maternity leave. To ensure this happens, there will be a sufficient handover period.

You will be required to create, plan and execute a marketing strategy. To be clear we need a well organised and personable marketing professional who can own the role in their own right, not someone who needs to be managed. This role would not suit someone who is only a digital marketer, the skills needed are to be much more rounded.

You’ll have access to & will, at times, work closely with our project management, operations, web development, paid media & design functions to curate content and learn about the processes throughout the business.
